Recognizing the Power of Women Today and Every Day
Ideate Software joins Women in BIM and the United Nations in bringing attention to International Women’s Day.
Although this day is officially celebrated one day
a year, Ideate Software recognizes
the value of diverse teams every day, and we have ever since we first started
developing Autodesk® Revit® add-in tools in 2008. We proudly acknowledge that
women have contributed to the long-term success of all facets of our company,
including leadership, management, software development, IT, human resources,
finance, administration, sales, support, and marketing.
We are pleased to introduce you to just four of the many women
who make Ideate Software a great company for employees, customers, partners,
and others.
Jesika DiGregorio
Development Manager
Jesika
is responsible for all aspects of the Ideate Software solution development
lifecycle. She leads the team to develop timely, technically appropriate, and
quality solutions.
Jesika
received her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon in Eugene,
where she also studied advanced math.
Her
experience includes working as a junior designer at an award-winning firm
specializing in architecture and land planning, and as an intern architect at a
firm that provides services in planning, design, construction documents, and
construction administration.
In
2010, after working in architecture design, Jesika joined Ideate Software to
pursue her interest in programming and her love of efficient systems.
Stephanie Fitzgerald
Software Developer
Stephanie
has been a software developer with Ideate Software for more than six years,
focusing on Ideate Automation and solutions that integrate with the web.
She
earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physics and math from the University of
Oregon and a master’s degree in educational technologies from Harvard Graduate
School of Education.
In
past roles, Stephanie has been a project manager for a large-scale educational
research project, a project manager for software development at a startup, and
an instructional designer, and she has worked in software QA. She dipped her
toes in C# development as an instructional designer and fell in love with
writing software.
Nabeel
Customer Success Manager — Americas
Nivin
works with architecture, engineering, construction, and owner-operator
companies throughout North and South America to help them get a strong return
on their investments in Ideate Software tools and Revit software.
She
has a background in architecture, visual arts, and computer science and has
extensive experience in managing and manipulating BIM data, developing and
implementing BIM standards and workflows, and applying BIM workflows to
ancillary project components.
Before
joining Ideate Software, Nivin worked at several architecture and design firms
where she learned about Ideate Software products, used them, advocated for
them, implemented them, and trained others on how to use them. She earned her
Bachelor of Architectural Science degree from Toronto Metropolitan University.
Glynnis Patterson
NCARB Director of Software Development
Later this year, we will
celebrate Glynnis’ 20th anniversary with Ideate
Software.
As a
director, she is integral in setting the direction of software development and
in leading, motivating, and mentoring our team. She is a registered architect
and has worked within the BIM industry since 1998.
A
graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, she has worked as an architect,
educator, and construction site manager. She continues to work with companies
in architecture, engineering, construction, and owner-operator industries
worldwide, developing and consulting on solutions to BIM challenges.
In her spare time, Glynnis likes to cook, garden, and throw parties. She also likes to support her local community in Morristown, NJ through Grow It Green, Interfaith Food Pantry, and CoHome.org.
The theme of this year’s
International Woman’s Day, “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress”, rings true
with Ideate Software.
We have experienced firsthand the powerful advantage that comes
with people from multiple backgrounds working together to understand and
address challenges. We recognize and thank the women who have contributed to
our success so far, and we recognize that by continuing to hire and develop
women, we are helping to create a better world for everyone.
